Well known specialties

Burgundy cuisine is one of the most well known local cuisine of France. Many specialties from Burgundy are on the menu of french restaurants and not only in Côte d’Or gastronomic ones. Snails of Burgundy, pie of crayfish, saupiquet of Morvan and other « gougères » (choux pastry filled with cheese) are typical dishes from Burgundy that you will find with pleasure on every tables of Côte d’Or.

Each departments inside Burgundy has culinary specialties created with local products. In Côte Vineuse cuisine, included Côte d’Or and Saône-et-Loire, we often use wine, grapes and charolais meat. Rooster in red wine sauce, eggs in red wine sauce,  Ham sprinkled with chopped parsley, Burgundy beef and other pies will be at many times in menus of gastronomic restaurants in Côte d’Or and especialy in the restaurant Les Oenophiles, gastronomic restaurant from the Hôtel Philippe Le Bon in Dijon.
